(Short Answer Type Questions)


1. Answer in about 50 words any ten of the following :

   (a) Are people today more civilized in any way than in the past ?

4.(a) Write a brief note on the element of pathos in  Tagore's 'The Home-Coming'.

      Point out the idea of a robot slave and its technical aspects.
  (b) Critically e examine Leo Tolstoy's story 'Three Questions'.
Or
      "I have not a moment to spare for the work." This means:
  (i)   I have so much work that I cannot spare a moment for anything else.
  (ii)  I have never done any work even for a moment.
  (iii) I have so many other things to do that I have no time at all for work.
  (iv)  I have spent every moment of my time looking for work.
