SHOULD WIZARD HIT MOMMY ?

1) What is the moral issue that the story raises ?
Answer ) The story raises a moral issue that we should not supposed to change ourself for others. We have to maintain our originality. As we have read in the story Roger Skunk's mother hit the wizard to get her son's smell back.
2) How does Jo want to end the story and why ?
Answer ) She wants to end the story with the situation that wizard hit the mommy and the smell of roses comes again to Roger Skunk. Because as a child she likes the stories which have happy ending.
3) Why does Jack insist that it was the wizard that was hit and not the mother ?
Answer ) He tries to insists that it was the wizard that was hit and not the mother because he want to convey her the moral of story that we should retain our originality.
4) What makes Jack caught in a ugly middle position ?
Answer ) He was caught in a ugly middle situation. At one side Jo was not ready to sleep and she was questioning again and again and at the other side he wants to help his wife downstairs who was painting the walls.
5) What is your stance regarding the two endings to the Roger skunk story ?
Answer ) I'm totally agree with the ending that was given by Jack. Because Jo was growing up and her mind was developing. So for his betterment and to convey her a moral Jack's ending was the best.
6) Why is an adult's perspective on life different from that of a child's ?
Answer ) The adult's perspective on life is different from that of a child. The adult thinks more logically and he can understand what is right and what is wrong. In contrast, the child can't understand what is right or wrong.
